Tips

Headed to Disney?  Need some advice?  Well, you came to the right place.  Sit back, relax, and read some of our tried and true tips.

--If you are from Florida buy the Annual Pass!  If you go for one week, it will save you $70 in parking if you are staying off property.  You also get discounts on some dining and merchandise.
--Do not carry around heavy water bottles.  Ice and water are complimentary at Disney.
--Use the fastpass system.  This will save you a lot of wait time.
--Do not carry a lot of unnecessary baggage into the parks.  You will find over time that you will not need a lot of things that are in your bag.  The weight just makes you miserable in the heat.
--If your child is over 2 rent a stroller at the parks.  Disney strollers are molded plastic and can be dried if it rains.  It also saves the hassle of folding one up to get on a bus or tram.  However, if your child is younger than 2, they will be more comfortable in their own stroller.
--Visit indoor attractions during the heat of the day.  Save the outdoor ones for late evening or night.
--If you have seen the nighttime shows before, use that time to ride the rides.
--Carry some of the packets of drink mix (Country Time, Crystal Light, etc) to put in your complimentary water.  Voila!  Lemonade.
--Get into pin trading.  They can be inexpensive souvenirs as well as a great way to meet cast members and other guests.
--A great place to watch the Magic Kingdom fireworks is from the Train Station.  Just be sure to get there early.  Seats go quickly!
--Use the train as transportation to other parts of the Magic Kingdom.
--Relax and enjoy the music at EPCOT.  The U.K. pavilion has The British Invasion who are phenomenal!  Near the Canadian pavilion Off Kilter, a Scottish rock band, plays some fantastic music.  MoRockin, found at the Moroccan pavilion, is a great band.
